What We Do

We love Mercedes-Benz. We have been working on them since 1980 — from 1920s classics all the way through current models. That is what we are known for, and it is what we do best.

We also work on other makes and models. If it needs a mechanic, bring it in.

Mercedes-Benz — Our Specialty

Mike has close to sixty years of hands-on experience with these cars. There is no model he has not seen, no problem he has not solved.

Service Categories

01

Engine Diagnostics and Repair

Check engine light diagnosis, engine rebuilds and overhauls, fuel injection service, and timing chain and belt replacement. For older Mercedes, we work with Bosch mechanical fuel injection and CIS systems that most modern shops have never touched.

Engine diagnostics
02

Brake Service

Brake pad and rotor replacement, brake fluid flush, and ABS diagnostics. From standard pad swaps to full overhauls on classic Mercedes with single-circuit hydraulics.

03

Transmission

Manual and automatic repair, fluid changes, clutch work. Including Mercedes 722-series automatics that require specific fluid types and service intervals.

04

Electrical Systems

Batteries, alternators, starters, wiring diagnosis. Vintage Mercedes use vacuum-operated systems for everything from door locks to climate control — diagnosing these requires decades of experience.

05

Cooling and Heating

Radiator, water pump, A/C recharge, heater core. Southern California heat is hard on cooling systems, and an overheating engine can go from minor to major in minutes.

06

Suspension and Steering

Shocks, struts, power steering. Including self-leveling rear suspension and hydropneumatic systems found in the W126 and W140.

07

Routine Maintenance

Oil changes, tune-ups, fluid flushes, pre-purchase inspections. The kind of regular maintenance that keeps a car running for decades.

We are mechanics, not a tire shop. We do not mount, balance, or align tires. We do not do body work, paint, or upholstery. We focus on what we are good at — mechanical repair, diagnostics, and keeping your car on the road. For everything else, we are happy to recommend someone we trust.
